FRONT DESK
If you're having a hard time finding a certain ore in the mine, or need more of a certain colored down, you can offer a trade at the stall. In addition, a trader might keep an inventory of traded goods and be willing to offer you a swap if the trader thinks it's a good deal. Be prepared to haggle!
Farmers can add additional fields to their land. Buying a second field costs 30,000 G. Buying any more fields cost 60,000 G. There is no limit to how many fields you can add, but make sure you have enough time to take care of them all. A field can be either a normal field (for growing crops), or a paddy (for growing water paddy crops). Each field has 15 squares. To create a gardening space to participate in the bi-monthly gardening shows, you will need 8 Pebbles and 15 Small Stones.
Farmers can also compete for Super Fields by registering at the front desk. Super Fields are premium plots of land that grow crops twice as fast as they do in a regular field or paddy. To compete for one of the fields, talk to Samra, who will bring in the current owner of the field to discuss terms. The owner may choose to give or sell the field directly. However, if the owner refuses, a competition will be held for the rights to use a Super Field. The current owner is allowed to choose the terms from the following list:
* Most items sold on one specific date
* Most revenue gained from sold items on one specific date
* Winner of the next competition festival
* Largest variety of items sold on one specific date
If the owner wins, they're allowed to continue using that field for the specified amount of time before they can be challenged for the right of the field again. If the owner loses, they must either clear the field or allow the winner to keep what's already growing there.

In this broad stone marketplace, villagers can buy goods from visiting merchants, or even set up their own stalls once the mayor grants his approval. The mayor's approval is given once a character has completed one full year of residence in Rendezvous. If enough goods are shipped, additional vendors may be drawn to Rendezvous to open up additional stalls where exotic and unique items, recipes, and patterns can be purchased. A merchant's inventory will likely change depending on the season.
