INN/TAVERN

The first floor features several booths, tables, and seats at the bar for town residents to relax after a long day. The second floor has rooms for rent, either short-term or long-term, and many of the town residents call the inn home. Buying a drink at the tavern won't count as a "square meal" for purposes of restoring your character's stamina, but you can buy another character a drink if they're present which will increase their FP.

SALESPEOPLE

Starting in Fall of the second year, you may randomly encounter a salesperson. They sometimes have special items to sell that can't be obtained anywhere else. A salesperson will visit your farm under the following conditions: between 2:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m., non-festival day, non-stormy weather, and if you or your spouse is at home. If you are not at home, the salesperson will leave you a letter indicating that he or she will try again once more at an undisclosed day within the upcoming week. But if they miss you again, they will move on to someone else. If you buy a pattern and give it to the sisters at the Tailor, the pattern will be removed from the salesperson's inventory list.
